A
doctor based at the District Hospital in Doti with fake academic
credentials has been arrested by police. Sujit Kumar Shrestha working as
a medical officer at the hospital was arrested by police from his home
in Thankot, Kathmandu on Friday. He has been charged of submitting fake
academic certificate of intermediate level to pursue medical education,
according to the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police. Necessary
investigation and action as per the forgery act and Nepali Medical
Council Act has been initiated against the 47-year-old fake doctor. The
CIB has so far arrested 12 such doctors under its 'operation quack'
