Ectopia Cordis is an inborn deformity in which the heart is strangely
found either somewhat or absolutely outside of the thorax. The ectopic
heart can be found along a range of anatomical areas, including the
neck, mid-section, or abdomen.In most cases, the heart projects outside
the mid-section through a split sternum. A 22-year-old lady brought
forth an infant with his heart standing out in Dharan on Saturday
evening. These is an extremely uncommon case as child shows at least a
bit of kindness outside the womb and have not very many opportunities to
live, said specialists at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences
(BPKIHS).
It is a remarkable case in restorative science, said Dr. Shailaja
