10 April - A transport attempting to maintain a strategic distance from an approaching truck drove off an expressway in a remote zone of southeastern Peru and tumbled into a waterway, killing no less than 23 individuals, powers said Saturday. Nearby police Cmdr. Jorge Pastor told the region radio station that another 35 individuals were harmed in the Friday crash on a stretch of parkway in the middle of Cusco and Puerto Maldonado.

A preparatory police examination by police has demonstrated that an approaching truck crossed into the transport's path and the transport driver swerved to maintain a strategic distance from it, bringing on the vehicle to leave the roadway and fall more than 20 meters into the Mapacho River.
