These days’ three different agencies under the Nepal police are working on the same kind of crime investigations. Central Investigation Bureau of police, Metropolitan Police Crime Division and Kathmandu complex has been working hard to investigate on the great issues of these days: cyber crime.
Bureau has been focusing on the criminal activities such on rape case that have been increasing from the relation made from the social networking media, Crime Division is focusing on murder and complex is focusing on organized fraud case.
Few years earlier, cyber crime was limited on complains of character assassination but now it has been spread up to rape, murder and fraud case but due to the lack of strong law, international access , manpower and the medium, the control over these crimes are becoming very very difficult.
Alcoholic addiction increasing among the teenagers and increasing free opinion towards the sexual relations are becoming the helpful reasons to increase the crime. Niraj Kumar Chaudhary is in police custody accusing for raping and blackmailing a girl giving her addictive materials that has been a friend through Facebook while he was in Saudi Arab.
Niraj was alleged for raping a girl taking her to hotel giving a temptation when he came to Nepal. As she was depressed from, black mailing, the girl came to the bureau along with complain. Looking towards the criminal activities of Niraj, it can be imagined that victim is not only one but others are not in contact of bureau.
